FARISHTAE RAASTA — Line Following Robot
Farishtae Raasta is a competition-ready line follower optimized for speed and accurate path recovery. It uses an array of IR sensors and a tuned PID controller to maintain course at high speed.
Typical configuration: 12V battery, 2WD or 4WD depending on class, multiple IR reflectance sensors arrayed at the front, and a lightweight frame to minimize inertia.
"Read the line. React faster. Win the race."
- Team RoboSapiens (Farishtae Raasta)
The robot's firmware emphasizes a fast control loop and robust error recovery so it can handle sharp corners and variable surface reflectivity. Component choices focus on low inertia wheels and high RPM motors.
We provide calibration routines and sample PID parameters to help new teams get competitive quickly.
